You will not regret it.
Multiplayer is a hoot if you have some other local users (same country)

Until a couple of weeks ago, I hadn't touched Phoenix since I started being able to do circuits with the real thing or since I started flying my T-Rex 600N. I had never been able to do circuits in the sim without crashing.
When I fired up Phoenix, I was able to lift off the 600N model and immediately fly circuits with it. Does that sound good enough for you?

I have used a few different sims and I think Phoenix is the best one out there. Its not as "gamey" as RealFlight or FS One. You will be very happy with it.

Hey Lith,
It also has a knight 50 3D that's worth it right now.

Mind you, it would be among the best RC investment purchase decisions you'll make in this fascinating hobby IMPO. If flight physics and realism as well proactive customer service/support response combined are the most important criteria you've considered in purchasing a sim, then you've hit bull's eye  as of the time of this posting and I think other satisfied users couldn't agree more. I suggest if you haven't, do some research in several RC forums or otherwise on what most sim users say and comment about the respective sims they've tried or owned. By the way, I'm just a satisfied customer/user and these comments are based on my actual, personal experience..nothing more. :smokin:

I just took the plunge myself and took delivery yesterday. I am very impressed with this sim! Although I'm only a beginner so I can't really comment on how accurate the feel is, I have been using ClearviewRC for the past while and although it was good for the price you pay for it, the PhoenixRC is definitely a step up and the physics of the planes/helis do feel more realistic. And the graphics are amazing, sharp as a pin, with all the great graphical games out there at the moment I think people almost expect fancy graphics and this program doesn't disappoint!

Glad you got it Lithium. As soon as you're done playing with all the options and getting to know the sim get to work on a heli variant that flies like a logo! :smokin:

Ordered mine 2 days ago. So far very impressed with the email info from HeliGuy. I've been through Dave Brown , Cearflight and Real Flight G2. Now that I'm building up my Trex 450SA I think I need to learn a lot more about flying. I've beat to death a Blade CP, a Helimax CP and mostly maimed a HoneyBee King. Looking forward to this sim and this heli. Doc

I might consider a new sim, and it seems like everybody likes the Phoenix. Any advice on where to order it from (price and delivery time)?

For price you cant beat Heliguy, for delivery time you cant beat direct from Phoenix.

I also am looking for a Sim, I just purchased a B400 and crashed it in about 5 seconds, did a roll on the ground. I thought I was pretty good with my Cx2, but that seems like a kids toy to this, any way does anybody have link where I can get the Phoenix and do you know if I can use it with the DX6i for the B400?

Yes, the DX6i will work with no adapter required.

I got mine from Heliguy in the UK. It came in 4 business days and it was cheaper than ordering directly from Phoenix.

Well Doc now you will finally have one that flies good, I was amazed at how good I could fly the rex 450 after beating my head against the wall with a Blade CPP, don't make the mistake I did and put on the flybar weights, if you can hover the smaller birds, the 450 wont respond as fast with the weights on, I crashed my new 450 as a result.

That 15 dollar one at walmart has been giving good results as well. Personally I used my Socom usb mic.
