Yep, they are the same according to what I read on the hitec site, same servo. So all you need to do is order the metal gears at bout $13 or so if you break the carbonite ones. Thats my plan anyways.

Have a look at the Central Hobbies web site - cant beat that price..........

Hi guys, I've got the HS-65HB as a tail servo and stock gyro, what gain and you guys running? in the book it says its not in heading hold untill its over 70%

Is the HItec HS 56HB strong enough for the 400's tail - stock gyro? Its 17 oz but its pretty fast .11 Need some advice before I install it. Thanx

No,the book says anything over 50% is HH mode. 50% the same as 0 in HH mode.

And some gyros say to stay away from "zero".
For radios that go -100 (rate) to +100 (hh) they say don't use -1, 0 or 1.
For the DX6i that means don't use 50 or 51.
Personally, I can't see a reason to ever be between 45 and 55.

Hey Coptr Doctr how did those Futaba 3156MG fit in?? Since they are lighter, faster, stronger, and smaller that the HS65MGs and I am filing and filing to try to fit in the 65's.

How do the 3156s center?? I'm 0 for 3 with my 3156 servos, centering is terrible. Have you had better luck?
