Fly-In - 11th Annual Spring Sizzle, May 24-25
The Capitol Area Soaring Association (http://www.soarcasa.org/) is pleased to announce that we will be holding our 11th Annual Spring Sizzle (http://www.springsizzle.com/) (http://www.springsizzle.com)!
The Spring Sizzle (http://www.springsizzle.com/) is an electric only fun fly event held in Rockville, Maryland, just north of Washington, DC. The Sizzle is a very low key event. Anything electric that flys (fixed-wing/rotary/UFO) is welcome. This year, the Sizzle will take place on Saturday and Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend, May 24th and 25th 2008. Flying will take place from 9 AM to 5 PM both days. Registration is $5 each day to fly. AMA membership is required.
Participation at past Sizzles has reflected the trend in our hobby, more and more helicopters. We anticipate that this years event will have a representative rotary aircraft presence. The Gude Drive site is an excellent and safe location for flying helicopters of any size.
