I just ordered the Xtreme upper and lower blade grips and the Xteme extended inner shaft.
Who is running these and how do you like them? I realize its going to affect the run time. I bought the DN 900mah battery, so that will help with that slightly.

Honestly the stock plastic ones work much better.

I love the "Extreme Blades & Grips". The blades have more (+) pitch and flex very little compared to stock blade or MicroHelo blades. This is a great hopup that payes for itself real quick.
I haven't noticed any lost flight time with these blades, but I also went for the Extreme motors & MegaPower 850 batt all in one upgrade, so YMMV.

I have extreme mod plastic blade grips. I don't know about where the metal ones come from etc, but if they are heavier than the plastic ones thats never a good thing. the blade CX2 performs best the lighter you can make it... any added aluminum, metal, or bling will just add to weight, causing more power to lift the bird, making you run the throttle higher, and in return giving you less battery power.
as far as the folding blade grips (pastic or metal) they are a must buy if you don't want to replace blades. I have about 20 or 30 fold in blades (spares) and I have never had to use them. I have a few pairs of the blade extreme blades and a few white chinese blades. (with the white on black lettering).
I hit things with the blades all the time and the only thing that happens is they bend in... if you can fly the chopper without hitting anything, then the blades will outlast the 1 or 2 minor niks you may put into them over time.
