Hi there, i want to install the os hyper into the knight. Unfortunately i lost my washer to go beneth the fan. But in my old gohbee setup i did not need any so maybe its ok without it on the knight as well? Its a bit contrary for me the manuals says install the washer...on some setup vids they did just add the fan without any washer.
Is it needed?
Greetings

without it you might need to elongate the engine mount holds slighly but other than that it should be ok.

I would like to know as well.
When I first mounted my hyper, I went by the instructions that show the washer. It felt like the e-clip on the start shaft was rubbing on the top of the clutch too much.
I removed it and it fit perfectly. The bottom of the clutch lined up with the bottom of the bell.
Have not had any issues so far.

I was told to leave mine in also, but it fit better without it.

Crankshaft end play. better check the crankshaft and make sure you not wearig thru your back plate.
I am not sure but I think that is why the washer is there.
