Hi everyone! I've tried the EP200, but I noticed that the Futaba 3154 I'm using on the tail gets really hot in a couple of minutes. I've tried reducing the limit knob on the GY401, but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

Mine gets hot as well. It continues to work well on 3 different machines in the digital mode. I have heard that others had issues. We have not.

if ur not using a tail specific digital servo dont use digital mode on the 401 is will kill it. the switch is for tail specified digital servos. so basically it slows the frame rate for other servo. so flip the switch to nor and add in some delay but that should help as 4 the 3151 it may be dead why not try a jr 3500 tail servo there cheap or the fut 9257 ?

same here. 3154 running nice and warm in digital mode, but keeps the tail locked, no problems.

On a side note:
Does the 3154 get hot with a 2100T too, if run in digital mode? (My setup, I might add) :)

Thanks very much! I was a little worried... ;) But seems it's "normal"!

I'm running three 3154's and i have never felt of the damn servo, what possesses you to do that. They work just fine with the 2100's that i have. Ron
again I have a cheapo telebee gyro on mine and the 3154 doesn't seem to get hot, Which is more than likely to do with how I am currently flying it, VERY GENTLY!
