i'm looking at going ahead and picking up a 91 motor i think they may become a little scarce once this heli hits stores. but i have heard that the os 91szh with pump has issues. what are the issues and how many instances are they occuring? the ys is very nice and cheaper but i've heard they are difficult to maintain a solid tune on. any recommendations or opinions appreciated.

it all comes down to personal choice, I use the OSszh91 in one synergy and the OSszhpump in the other synergy. both have excellent power and reliability and I have never experienced any failued bearings or tuning issues. the pump version does require a bit more tuning than the non pumper. and carbsmart would be a good choice also.

I switched from an OS 50 to a YS50st and I'll never go back to an OS. I don't have any .90 experience but I've been told the YS90SR is much closer to the OS90 in power than the ST is.

I also heard hat OS may bring a longer stroke version of their 90 to market...

Thunder Tiger is going to release a 106 engine soon. That should make the 700 a monster.

No release date set on the Redline 106 yet, hopefully we will see it in June.

if you dont know the gear ratio yet choosing the motor too soon would be a mistake.
