Does any one know the part# on the long set screw on the open tail gears I lost one? I hope I can buy one? And not have to buy a gear. :arggg:

I have not seen the open gears that are being held with set screws. But I would think the set screws are just 3mm or 4mm in diameter. Set screws come in many lengths, so all you have to go is get a set screw of the correct diameter and length.

I would guess the set screw is 3mm X 10 or 12mm

This is about 8mm in length and has a tip on the end so that it fits into the hole in the output shaft. It’s like the ones for the tail rotor hub but longer.

A 3mm X 8mm pointed set screw should work fine.

The set screw your describing is called a Dog Point set screw.

The ones that go in the tail rotor hub are
0056 3 X 5 Dog point set screw

The ones that go in the gears might have the part number
0056-1 But that is just a guess.

Thanks David I will call MA.There longer them 5mm they use this set screws in the open tail gears insted of the pin.I will post part# when I get it for others.
