Ok more updates on my stinger 90 , i have a gallon and half thru it now with 7 full flights and just getting things twicked, i do like how it flys, it flys much like my stinger 50 dos but bigger and it sure hogs the fuel, i did get out with it being windy and the big helis sure are not effected by the wind much , makes for more flying days , i did my first roll with today as well, still not sure what head spead to run tho, iam at around 1800 with 680 nhps carbons. scott

For just flyin around and some loops and rolls, 1800 is fine. When you are ready to start bangin on it, it will handle 1900 with no problem and liven up some.
Just remember more speed more fuel. Wait till you see how fast you can empty the tank at 2000.:D

I tell ya Jeff, My Stinger 30 is a banging little machine too. All those gohbee upgrades that are stock compared to thunder tiger? How come they dont come stock w/ thunder tiger. they offer em , just gonna make ya buy em I guess? Any thoughts why companies dont just do what Gohbee does? (put a good product out the first time)

The differences between the Stinger 60 and 90 are
1. Tail boom.
2. Belt.
3. Boom support rods.
4. Main gear.
5. Pinion.
That's it, the rest is the same.

Ok 1 more question on the stinger 60s, what are the longest main blades you can run on the 60 size. thanks

Usually 680's or 690's at the biggest.

680's or 690's are recommended.
I know that 720's will hit the tail.
I do not have a set of 700's or 710's to try.
If you are wanting to run longer than 690 with a 60/70 engine, you will need to change gear ratio and run a lower head speed.
You could get away with changing the boom and belt to the 90 size, to run any length blade you want.
What is it that you are thinking of doing?

Just wanting to know what the max lenth i could run on a 60 if i picked one up, thats all.

You could just get the 90 kit.
The extra boom length will not make a difference if you fly it as a 60.
If you intend to fly it as a 60 just order the 10 tooth pinion and 93 tooth main gear with it (for OS 70 engine).
Then when you are ready for more power all you need is the bigger engine.
The price difference between the 60 and 90 kit is only $25.

Ha, I just found out why the 90 is $25 more than the 60 at the moment.
The Stinger 90 now comes stock with carbon tail fins, 105mm carbon tail blades and a fan assy for both the OS and YS 90's. :glasses2:
