Iam want to get faster cyclic with the stock set up of my stinger 90 , stock paddels, 700 mm rotor sport mains, if i move the linkage ball to the outer holes how much faster will the roll rate be for the heil, and will this change make me have to reset my pitch settings. thanks

Any time you mess with the linkages on any heli you should check the pitches.
The outer holes will speed it up some.
Check to make sure that you are getting the max available cyclic travel from the swash with no binding.
You will want lighter paddles to really get the cyclic rate up there.
Gohbee is in the process of making some Lightweight carbon paddles but it will still be a while before they are ready. For now Gohbee does carry the MAH paddles that do help a lot.

Those will work. I have a set of the red TT on my 90 now.
The reds make it pitchy in fast flight, be careful.

any other suggestions for paddels then. how about the v- paddels. how much do the stock paddels weight if you know or can weight them.

I don't have a scale but was told that the stock paddles weigh 52 grams.
I am not saying that the reds are bad, just to be ready for the difference.
I still have the reds on my 90.
I ran the MAH till I broke one,
I have never tried V paddles, just the stock, MAH and red TT. I am trying to talk my way into a prototype set of the new Gohbee carbon paddles to try. The Gohbee carbon paddles will be similar to the V's.
I have the Gohbee carbon paddles on my 50 and like them a lot.

well i the roll rate is kinda slow so iam thinking a set of 30 or 35 gram weighted paddels would speed things up but i would like to stay smooth as well tho and not pitchy.the gohbee ones seem to light to me for the 50s at 17 grams i think thats what i read.

I am glad I read this whole thread before posting a stupid question as I found my answer...
flyinfool stated:
You could just get the 90 kit.
The extra boom length will not make a difference if you fly it as a 60.
If you intend to fly it as a 60 just order the 10 tooth pinion and 93 tooth main gear with it (for OS 70 engine).
Then when you are ready for more power all you need is the bigger engine.
I tend to be a penny-pincher... Oh OK, so my wife rules the roost, shoot me...
I purchased a NIB MD500 Defender at the perry show last year for $200.00
I recently purchased a used nice Stinger 90 which came with new 710s and I have a NIB OS70.
I will order the new gear and pinion for a sixty and a set of 680 blades and I should be set.
Thanks to all you guys for all the info you put out that is very helpful.
take care

Thanks Jeff,
if work would just slwo down some I could get this done quicker.
I am anxious to get the stinger flying in pod and boom before I install it in the fuselage.
I will post some pics as soon as I finish this project.
