Hi.

I am flying with some batteries, Brand are Electric Power (?) 740 mah 25C - 50C and the weight are 49 gram.

In steady ( :smokin: )hoover, my Gaui are using ca. 100 mah pr. minute (with plastic blades), and a little bit less in forward flight, but the batteries got warm after 5 - 5,5 minutes use, and are to large to fit inside the frame.

As I need more batteries, what are the weight on the original Gaui batteries ? And how did they perform, maybe compared to the FlightPower Evolite 8002Sbatteries, special made to fit the BX2 ?

I thought I had read somewhere that someone was flying 10 - 12 minutes ??

BTW, that little bastard are flying extremely well, and are fast and relative easy to correct if you are going to do some -UPS- manoeuvres !! :whip

Hi Bjørn

I just ordered 6 more (got two with my Gaui kit) of these:
http://flying-hobby.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_2&products_id=949

They give me 5,5 to 6 minutes of flight time

They get "warm" (my guess is around 40-45 degrees) but nothing to worry about.

Hi Peter.

Have you ordered shaft driven tail also ? :)

I have a couple of the Aplus batteries that followed my Hurri 550, and they are not much worth.

A "warm" - or should we call it hot ( oh, my old poor English teacher :DH ) lipo battery after a flight are a poor battery in my world. It is a sign of a battery with high internal resistance, and not so good in delivery of higher current, and indicate shorter lifeage.

That worried me a little bit, since my battery are (or should have been) 25 C batteries.

It could be that I should look into the tension of the tail belt.

The Flightpower batteries can be bought locally (flightpower.dk) but I do not know if they will fit my balance-connections (Align or Hyperion), and if I should go with the original Gaui-batteries, I will like to rearrange my build.

Easy, I will buy one of each :YeaBaby:

If you think of these: http://www.flightpower.dk/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=93

They are very long, and do not fit well in the Gaui 200
(Have one for my CX2)
