First off, I was really impressed with the delivery time from Phoenix. I ordered it on Sunday, it was shipped on Monday to Burnsville MN, and I received it on Thursday :)

I am real new to this stuff so I am starting my training with a Blade CX2 coaxial. What is happening to me on the sim is that the tail keeps swinging back about 15% or so when using the rudder for turns and I return the stick to center. It doesn't behave that way on my real CX2 and I also use the Clear View sim here at work and it flies fine on that too. So, it may come down to settings, etc. I just wonder if anyone here understands this problen and can help me to eliminate this little discrepency? I downloaded the CX2 as an add on, but the resident Lama does the same thing.. Thanks for any help.

I am not able to fly the larger Helis because my controller is only a 4 channel that came with the Blade CX2. I do not fully understand what I can or can't fly with that limitation. I just loaded Phoenix on my new computer, fully loaded, it still acts the same way with the coaxials so it wasn't a memory problem. The rudder control doesn't work either when I am in forward flight. Seems quirky to me  The Clear View simulator works great with the CX2 so maybe I will just upgrade controllers for Phoenix and start flying the 3D's with that. Graphics are awsome on the new computer.

the cx2 tx works great on phoenix, you just need to assign throttle and collective to the throttle stick. I think the stock TX profile in phoenix does this already.

try it on the knight, if it does it there too then it sounds like something is messed up.

maybe you could make a recording in phoenix and attach it to a post so we can see whats going on?

Thanks Ade. I played around with it this morning and the collective pitch is assigned to the throttle. I found if I put full elevator on when doing the turns it worked fine and the tail swinging stopped. I will give the Knight a try this evening to see what happens there. Which of the stock Spectrums do you use and are you using the CX2 controller that comes with the Heli? I was also unable to get it to work well with an electric glider as well. I can't seem to reverse the aileron slider?

I have yet been able to get my Blade CX2 controller to handle the coaxials the way it flies for real? I finally found the Blade Controller profile in the "other" folder so I think it should be pretty close. Is there anyone else using Phoenix for the CX2 using it's own 2.4 controller? As soon as I can, I am going to start flying a 3D but need the right controller for that so I am limited to coaxials for now it seems? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
