Just started to fit my Trex 450 with aligns MD500 fuse, does anyone know if the wood frame inside the fuse where the heli mounts is suppose to have pre drilled holes in it to mount the heli? I have the blocks mounted on the frame of the heli and went to install it into the fuse and noticed there were no holes inside the fuse where it mounts and the directions dont say anything about it either.

You'll need to mark the location and make your own holes. Mounting position of the mechanics seems to be a bit different for everyone...

It's different for everyone, because your elevator servo and rudder servo will vary the mounting position of your Heli.
Position your Heli inside the fuselage to determine where the mounting holes need to be drilled.
TIP: Use zip ties to secure the Heli frame to the fuselage.

For what it's worth ... zip ties may expand with temperature changes, so you may need to snug them up a bit latter. If you leave a little extra extending when trimming it makes that easy.

Thanks for the info, I just wasnt sure if it was a defect from the factory. After I posted I found the build post that someone did on the 500E, couldnt find it before thats why I asked. I test fit everything this weekend and just have to hook up the tail and mount it today.
