Lots of people put the skids on that way to keep the tail blades more out of the grass on autos. It has been going on for years, I think the Raptor was one of the first that a lot of people did it with.

Skids keep the heli from falling over backwards/off of the work bench when the blades are folded back, yeah, it's an old trick...

Heli has every part that was even slightly worn replaced.

I personally rebuilt the machine from every screw to every bearing being inspected/replaced....
