Spektrum giveaway lead time?

I sent my receipts and UPC codes in to Spektrum two weeks ago and was wondering how long it takes for them to send you the extra receiver? Called today and they said they had not yet received anything from the promo dept.

Just wondering...

They say 6-8 weeks....but some have reported back in 4 weeks....

Wow, I just received my receiver today - 2 1/2 weeks later! Instead of sending an AR7000 as the match, got an AR9000 instead. Seems to work fine with the DX7 but if there is no advantage to using it over an AR7000 maybe I'll trade it.

Any thoughts on advantages/disadvantages of using an AR9000 with a DX7? Weight and space is not an issue I'm worried about though.

dx7 on a 9000 will still give you 1024 resolution

9303 ona 9000 will give you 2048 resoution.

will work fine though. If you ever go 9303 then your ready.

That's true but you get 3 antennas (2 internal + 1 satellite) with the AR9000 and only 2 with the AR7000 (1 internal + 1 satellite).
