View Full Version : what kind of sevoes for the swahplate for a t-rex 600cf

i have a t-rex 600cf. battery driven. i bought a 611 gyro whit srevo for my tail. whits wors just find. But i am jusing spektrum ds821 for my swasplat(becase they came in the same pakig when i bought my dx7, so i just jused them. But they are too slow. what kind of servoes do you people recomend??? I don`t need the best of the best because i am a newbe, But somting better then i am jusing now..i fly whit a dx7radio and reciver.many answers wil help.

For a newbe the DS821's are not a bad choice, I used them for a year before I upgraded. If you are not happy with the 821's, try the Futuba S9452's. They are only $80 each, and a lot of T-REX pilots use them with great success!

I use the 9452 on the cyclic, S3151 for the throttle, S9254 on the tail. As I recall the servos that come with the DX7 821's are not recommended for the 600 due to failing in flight!

JR/Spektrum does not recommend the DS821s for 50 nitros, but they say they should be fine on 50 sized electric.

Personally, I will run them up to 30 sized electric. No larger.
