I really wish Phoenix had a Logo heli in the lineup. I don't have a Logo yet and I'd like to fly it on the sim to see how it compares to other heli's. What are you Logo flyers using on Phoenix? Do you have any variants you'd like to share?

I vote for logo 500. The knight 50 is my favorite at the moment.

doeni, do you already have a logo 500? If so I'm very interested in your adjustments to the Knight 50 to make it fly like a logo. Will you share your variant of the Knight 50?

phoenix rely on photos supplied by users. If you have a good camera take a look at the technical section on the website.

Ain't got my Logo yet, when it is built i will do Pics.

Well, for the Knight, i just downsized the Rotor, Put Power to about 2kW, Put headspeed to 2200-2300, Made a little more cyclic and added the TR-Speed to 600°/s

thats all, real easy

thanks adam, however they need a model to tune first. Can you sort some pictures as per the technical section of the phoenix website?

its worth saying that the only difference in the way the models fly is in the edit parameters so you could make a synergy fly like a trex 450 just by making the parameters the same. So there is nothing to stop you doing the same. Getting pictures of logo stuff has been a pain as nobody round here flies em.

Ade

good to know your using phoenix :-)

That is exactly why I was asking if anyone has made a variant of another heli so that it flies like a logo. I don't have a logo yet or I would do it. It sounds like maybe the Knight 50 is closest to a logo?

Anyone want to give this a try and share it with the rest of us non-logo flyers?

Max, Nickname "Voodoo" on this forum, modelled a very nice 600 for realflight (as far as i can judge from the pictures it looks pretty good, 12.500 Polys).

He owns and flies the 400,500 and 600 , so the dimensions/shape will most likely be more accurate than a boxmodeled version.

I use the Trex600. I changed a few settings to match my Logo600. Rotor Dia to 1370, chord to 57mm, gear ratio to 11:1, headspeed to 2300, max motor rpm to 25000, H.P. to 2.0. Even though the real Trex600 is heavier than the Logo, the weight listed in the sim is the same as the flying weight (w/batts) of my Logo600 so I left it the same.
These settings reflect my Logo600 3d with 600mm Rotortech blades and Tango 45-07 motor on 10s batts. I'm still tweaking though.
