BUMP! SKIDIDEE BUMP SKIDIDEE BUMPBUMP.
STICKY PLEASE!
How come the video's don't show up in Firefox or IE?
Perhaps because I am at work and they are blocked? I know youtube.com is blocked here.

As an interesting side note, did you know Subzzzzzzzzero sold that heli? I wonder who bought it? Hopefully it's still in one piece. As Indy Jones said, "This belongs in a museum!!"

Hello:
I got my fully assembled Belt-CP heli about 4 days ago, I have the following questions:
Where should the GYRO switch be set? to nor. or rev.?
Where should the GYRO swtich on the transmitter be back or forward (towards me)?
this is what is going on when I try to fly it:
the main rotors are telted to one side, so I try to balance it with one of the sliders below the other side of the joystick.
the heli is lifting from one side and I'm afraid it going to turn oven or fly sideyways, besides that, it's turning in a slow circle... any tips?
I appreciate your help...

RTF Belt CP comes with Rate Gyro, so the switch on Transmitter does not matter where it is located, that is only for when you get the Headhold Gyro.
If you have the Headhold Gyro ... UP is Rate mode Down is Heading Hold mode.
Gyro reverse switch.
To test if its functioning in the right direction simply turn on radio and heli move Tail counter clockwise and look at the servo arm, it should be pulling the arm Towards the front of the Heli, if it is not then flip the reverse switch so that when you move the tail (by hand) counterclockwise the arm pushes towards the front of the heli....
Heli spinning slowing to one side means the rudder is not trimmed properly and or you dont have enough headspeed as yet for the tail to hold properly.
Rotors tilted to one side..... what you need to be looking at is the swashplate.. .it MUST BE LEVEL flat when no stick movement is being made... if its not flat then you must make it so by :
First center all trims on your radio
Second Adjust link rod length going to the swash plate so that the swash is nice and level.
this is all shown in Video #1 in this thread.
Once you get that pretty level by eye then your ok to start to try and hover it from there you can trim it out perfectly with the radio trims.
My suggestion to you, since Belt CP's RTF usualy come pretty much flyable out of the box i would take that tilt in the blades/swash seriously, it could be a damaged servo.
to test this turn on radio and heli, lightly hold the servo arm one at a time while moving the right stick and listen for any clicking sounds from the servo, if you hear or feel any clicking then that servo is damaged.
if your confused on how to set up the helicopter after watching the above videos then i suggest you go under the main forum and go to bob finless videos and watch his video's for further instruction.

Hi Wolf,
yesterday I checked all the servos on my Belt CP, they all seem to work with a nice zeeez sound no clicking, I took some pictures, but no video yet, the swash plate might be telted to one side, also I'm comparing between the wiring on my CP and the one video from you above, I think I need to re-arrange somethings to balance the weight, I don't how can I show the picture of my Belt cp on this site.

Wiring??? has nothing to do with it i think but anyways.
To upload pictures you can use the Reply button then click Manage attachments to upload them or....
you can goto www.tinypic.com (http://www.tinypic.com) and upload your picture when its uploaded it will give you some codes you need the one that starts with [ img ] copy and paste that into your forum message and it will appear.
If the Swash is tilted to one side it should be easily spotted... if it seems straight from side and front then maybe your just not used to how Collective pitch single rotor heli's lift off.... you have to remember with all these helis as they lift off they will drift/lean to the Left, this is from the forces of the rotation of the main blades and the sideways movement is from the thrust of the tail blade... this all goes away once your airborne (of coz your heli has to be set up right or it will continue to drift)
Please take some pictures with the Heli On and transmitter On with all trims centered (except the throttle of coz)
Take picture Level from the side of the swash and front the front. Then also take some pics of the left and right side of the heli showing the links and servo arm locations when the heli is still on.
We can tell you what to do from there.

Wolf:
Thanks for the tip on how to the picture,
That is my belt CP from the side, and as you see you have that golden rectangular piece on mine is on the side and in your video it appears below the heli for more balance.
also you mentioned in your videos that one dial to use for adjusting the tail powerr, what about the other dial, what it's purpose?
looking at your heli and the on this link http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=68536, shows that they are well arranged... unlike mine

http://i32.tinypic.com/nqzdjk.jpg[/IMG]
also here, one arm link on top of the swash plate is not straight, I will have to loosen it as you mentioned in your video and see what is wrong with it...
But, I will post better pictures and youtube video links to show what is going on as per your post...
thanks..

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but your swash looks pretty dang level to me as well as your flybar paddles seem to be perfectly fine as well..
Your Servo arms are all ok as well, in fact i dont see anything wrong other than the on bent link arm (no biggy)
The one link is just a lil bend easily fixed but i am sure this is not the problem, only thing that will change is the tracking of the blades.
so again i say, believe its just your unfamiliarity with how single rotor heli's lift off.
So i will await your youtube video to see whats going on when you try to lift off.
