The vibe 50 is here and in stock in several places, Readyheli has it in stock (http://www.readyheli.com/JRP9550_Vibe_50_3D_Pro_Heli_Kit_V3D_p/jrp9550.htm).

Is it true what they say about the Vibe (once you go vibe you don't go back), I want one but with the T700N around the corner I think I will hold off, besides my T600N is treating me very well, I just installed Carbsmart.

Who will be getting one, I know Hulley pre ordered one so will get a chance to see one face to face, will this be the heli to give T600N run for it's money. The Vibe 90 V9 is a work of art and the Vibe 50 is a smaller brother.

What do you guys think?

Not that much competition until they get parts to other dealers.

If RH starts stocking parts, then it will be serious competition.

RH is not a JR dealer... At least they don't carry JR helis.. Or are they going to be?

What's the matter with them? They are 2mm thick and very stout. 4 break away points for the canopy so hopefully they won't get trashed in a crash...

This is a serious machine.

What is the weight difference between G10 and carbon fibre? Does is really make that much difference?

No doubt the price of parts for the Vibe will be 3 times that of the t-rex

I got to build one and fly it, my honest opinion on building it............Crap with a capital C......... The Trex 600 nitro pro is sooooooooooooooooo much easier to setup..... I can setup the head on the Trex 600 in 20 mins. It took me an my friend that owns it over one hour an a half just to get the head sorted..... The manuel isnt the best but gives a rough idea..... Some of the screw/bolts were in the wrong bags so that took alot of time finding the correct ones.......

I think Align wins hands down on build quality.........

But after all the fussing it did fly really well, the TT 53 redline had soooo much power even when running in it was pretty amazing....

But my friend and I both agreed that the Trex 600 nitro pro was soooo much better

That's odd, you're the first person who has said that the 600 is a better heli.

Everyone else who's had both says that when it comes to quality of parts, the vibe wins hands down. I'm guessing it will fly just as good as the Align 600.

I've got a 600N and love it, but I'm looking to buy a Vibe soon.

I think the Vibe 50 is darn like a t-rex 600N.
The Vibe looks better from the front
The 600N looks better from the side or an angle

I agree to teh frames, they look so booring^^
But it is a nice heli for sure! I would have gone with the 600N all over again though :)

"I think Align wins hands down on build quality...."

Hmm any Align heli I have ever seen looked like It would be lucky to last a season with out slop never mind 2.

You just keep on with your "quality" Align heli.... The Vibe 50 will have its own problem with stock avail but its quality will wipe the floor with any Align heli.

I dont think its even trying to compete with the like of Align anyway. The vibe 50 main competition will be the Calibers, Razors, RJX etc.

The G 10 frames on the Vibe 50 are stiffer than the carbon frames on the 600.Unlike the G 10 on the 600 the G 10 on the vibe is good quality. I have both the 600 and the vibe, the quality of the Vibe 50 is better than the 600,i like the way the 600 flys and dont have much bad to say about it,but the vibe is very nice.

well that was my findings....... Yes I will admit that the parts are better machined on the vibe but already my friends vibe has developed slop in the main bearing block and a small amount in the swash and with only 3 break in flights that ain't good....

I personally would have the 600 over the vibe 50..........

What do you mean by slop in the main bearing block?

How the heck do you get slop in a bearing block?

Explain.

Exactly I have no idea how it got the slop but you can see the bearing rock in the block...........

I still think its a really nice heli to fly but I will always choose the 600, untill they make the vibe 90 cheaper ( already got one but is a bit ill ) check my photo album to see what I mean lol

Unlike the align, the Vibe swash is adjustable if you do get any slop. It wouldn't surprise me if it needed a bit of tweaking after a few flights to settle in.

RH may not be a JR dealer, but they are selling the heli. So one could hope they will stock parts.

I saw one of the vibe 50 in person, don't get me wrong I love my Trex600N, but this is a work of art, the design is awesome.

I hope you guys get a chance to see what I'm talking about.

Andy how does it fly? Come on you can't post pics without a flight report, or do I have to head over to RR...:D

One question I have... In all of JR's pics I've seen, the canopy looks to have a gray tint to it. In all the "consumer" pics, it almost looks as if the canopy is white. But I'm not sure, maybe the pictures are throwing it off. Is it white or gray?
