just like the title....can you run 9252 servos at 6 volts? my buddy and i got into this argument....he says it will fry the servos and i say that they CAN run at those volts but its just that Futaba doesnt recommend it....so whos right????
also has anyone ever had the servo fry on them running 6 volts?

They work just fine at 6V. The only down side is that it may shorten the life span of the servo.

Run some of mine over 100 flights - they usually die a violent death long before they wear or burn out :flamedevil

5,7V is OK 6V is just a little bit to much

running them on both my trex and my titan with 6volts no problems yet :)

They key is "regulated"
They can take 6v off a regulator fine. They won't last too long on a 5 cell pack.

I have been running them on regulated power at 6V since Duralite made their first 6V regulator. Never burned one out before killing it in a crash. This is in about 8 machines that have a lot of flights on them.
