I'm about to affix the AR7000 receiver onto the heli. Please suggest locations. Thanks.

you want one rx with the two wires facing left and right and one rx with the two wires facing front and rear (perpendicular)

What if I were to place the main on the rear lower tray and remote on the underside of the rear lower tray at 90%?

I believe that in the manual it states the distance required for the rx's to be apart ( not in front of me now) I think that they have to be around 2 to 3 inches apart maybe.
Iwill look it up.
Yes manual says at least two inches apart and perpendicular is ideal for best conditions.

You want them on opposite sides of the heli or one on the bottom and one on the side with the antennas perp..or 90 deg to each other so each gets a different view of the transmitter....in certain instances with carbon frames or heavy batteries it can block the signal and you might have a rx lockout...very rare, but having the two rx helps prevent it...so the further away and apart the better. It's also why they reccommend only using the single rcvr on smaller helis...less mass to block signal.
