I am setting up my Fury head to go on the Stratus and having not set up any MA heads before I wanted to ask a couple of questions.

On the blade grips there is a choice of two positions for the bell mixers to go, the recommended one is the one further from the blade grip end, what does mounting the mixers on the other hole (towards the grip) do to the flight characteristics of the heli?

Is there a book available about setting up rotor heads in general as this is one area having only flown Raptors that I have little experience?

Thanks

The two holes on the blade grip are to mount the bell mixer. The hole closest to the blade will give you positive delta. The hole that is the greatest distance from the blade will give you 0 delta.
Most of the sport pilots use 0 delta. So you will want to screw the bolt that attaches the bell mixer to the grip in the hole that is on the end of the grip.

The instructions books for the models tell how to set up the rotor head.

Since the Stratus is currently available as a conversion only. Was you not flying the rotor head before you got the conversion?

I bought the Fury built but never flown from RR it had never been completed, when I bought it the Stratus had just come out so I decided to do the upgrade straight away.

So this will be my fist MA heli, if it flys as well as it builds I cant wait.
