Anybody using the Kong Power batteries?? They claim 25C and 3C charge rate. I've never heard of them and am usually suspicious of bold claims like that on unheard of brands....
So any of youse got the skinny on these? Good? Bad? Monkey poo???

Kong Power are getting popular and well known on the boards. Finless even did a comparison video on TP, FP, and KP packs. The KP's did very well

i'm using them in my Blade 400 and HDX450 and have had no problems. The size made my move the canopy on the Blade 1\4 inch but no difference in flight.

I've used a couple of the 2200/25C on my blade, they are just about bomb proof.
They wont puff from lvd and I would say the C rating is about the same as my dualsky xt and my friends outrage 2200/25C batteries (I can't tell the difference anyways)

I finally got to test my Kong Power 1800 26C batts in my Souped-Up Blade 400. IMHO, this is a great battery for this heli. I'm flying with the Scorpion HK2221-6 motor and Phoenix 35 ESC, so I have a lot more power than stock. I'm currently flying in Heli Fixed mode.
The 3 batteries I ran in the test were FlightPower 2170 25C, ThunderPower 2100 ProLite and Kong Power 1800 26C. I ran a timer set at 4:00. I flew the the FP 2170 first. The FP is a great battery. It's got all kinds of punch, but it's a real tight fit under the canopy. Next I flew the KP 1800. It fit under the canopy easily and I could not tell any difference in flight between it and the FP2170. I had similar headspeeds, similar punch. Last up was the TP 2100. By comparison, it lacked punch and the head speed was off about 150-200 rpm. The TP 2100s were a little warmer coming out of the heli.
On the charger, I put in 1280 in the KP, 1350 in the FP and 1150 in the TP.
I did not test the stock 1800 battery because I know it will not work for my power system. The stock battery is smoking hot after 2 minutes with this setup. It just can't handle the amp draw.
IMHO, this is a great battery. It's lighter than stock, slightly less expensive and has fantastic power. I think this would be a great battery for a stock B400. I think you would see an increase in headspeed and power even with the stock motor and ESC.

Excellent! Thanks for the report Mike.
I'm kinda picky about batteries and have been burned (both litterally and figuratively) by cheapo no-name batteries. It's nice to see other good quality packs hitting the market. Especially at reasonable prices.
