servos are: 4x jr DS8231 and one rudder NES810G

the question is: what power should i use for the new receiver and with this servos ..

i have heard that the signal of this receivers are lower than the rest and some times servo cant see it?

i know a guy crashed his two hellis using a duralite heli set when he swiched on the 2.4 14ch fut receiver....maybe coused from this!?!

i just dont want this hapent to me...

any of you have any expirience on powerbox gemini?i think this powers up the signal??can this product be the solution of the week signal of this receivers?

guys i maybe totaly whrong here so please show me the right way!

thanx in advance for any replyes and for your time!

sorry for my bad english

Powering the 2.4 ghz systems is really no different than powering any other frequency band.
If someone has power problems with the 2.4 ghz systems. They would have had the same problem with any other band.

NO supplying more voltage to the reciever does not have anything to do with how well it receives the signal from the transmitter.

I am using the Gemini power system, it works great. Before that I used the Duralite 5.6 volt regulator and Duralite 4000 mah Li-Ion battery. It worked great also.

The issue is with the Hitec 5955 servo and the 14 channel FASST when you Y gang the servos.

From my experience with Hitec servos. That is the problem is the servos, not the receiver. Don't know why anyone would want to skimp and use Hitec servos.

5955 servos are not really skimping. Retail around $100+, same motor as a JR 8611a and titanium gears. Sure you can get them in the $80 range but they actually are really good servos.

Still though, if you're running servos this big...they are going on a big plane. I don't know of a heli that needs that much torque unless its a huge gasser. And if they are going on a big plane...why, why, why put at least $3k worth of plane in the air using a $6 Y connector?

The 14 channel receiver has enough inputs where they just won't be needed. Use the functions of the radio with channel grouping.

If its a smaller receiver, get a power expander or power box. They work very well and supply constant power to the receiver while the servos run on a completely different power bus.

thanx guys for the info!

as i mention my heli use jr servos...didnt know this promblem was for use 5955 with the futaba 2,4

i never sed i run 5955 on this raptor.but by 46% biplane is full of 5955 and never let me down!

becouse we had heli crashes involving jr and futaba servos with 2,4 14 chanel receivers using just duralite lions for power...new modul and receivers 3 helis down from same owner..just hovering infront of him

i just ask if the use of the gemini would help receivers voltage on the signal to the servos so to avoid such crash
