Hello again,
I posted a couple of days ago where my gyro had a slight drift to it. Per the suggestion of a few folks, I was able to rebind the receiver and move some wires that were touching the gyro and the frame. This seems to have fixed the drift problem, but I seem to be getting a glitch in the heli now. At altitude, the tail will jerk hard to the left and then lock. It does this randomly. Almost like a bad connection or something..... I am starting to thing that the gyro may be bad..... has anyone seen this?

Make sure you have no trim or subtrim of any kind on your rudder. You might also be experiencing a static discharge through your tail belt, this can be alleviated with the use of food grade silicon spray on the belt.

Hi CTWF,
No subtrim....revo..trim..expo...anything. I DID end up shortening the leads on the 401....due to a dumb mistake. I was adjusting the wires yesterday at the advice of someone else and the 401 lead wire rubbed against the rotor gears. I had some pins and leads so I just shortened it and crimped them on where the gear rubbed through. Everything is secure. That shouldn't cause problems should it?

As for the Silicon....can I use non-food grade? I have that on the shelf. Food grade...I have to order. Just curious of the difference for this application. (I'm a newbie).

I'll try to get some video of what it is doing later today.....

Thanks for your assistance.
