I'm using a Sony DCR-TRV38 MiniDV camcorder. I'm not sure if Sony still makes it or not :(, it's only about 2 years old. I've done several videos in different modes, and so far the one I like the best is the "beach & ski" mode.

Yes the camera person is very cute (and Latin) but sorry she is not single; she's my gf. She does a great job taking some good heli videos when she feels like it.

1. Yeah the beach/ski mode made quite a difference, it looks even better on TV without editing. Colors come out VERY lively. Unfortunately my downloading software darkens the digital raw footage :( so I have to use the brightening feature a bit and the whole thing loses some quality while editing. In normal and sports mode videos come out pretty dark so I now stay away from those.

The fluorescent green canopy helps too.
