I can't resist...

“Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice”
- Thomas Paine

“Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess.”
- Oscar Wilde

If only they'd known how many ways those could be read, huh? :)

And to stay sort of on topic - an old picture, but still one of my favorites.

Just had a quick look over on the other place:

I believe that General Wibble, myself, and everyone else who took part in the Image Conscious thread, can absolutely afford to be deeply satisfied with the result.

The whole site is now comletely free from all SILLYNESS and MINDLESS DRIVEL:badair:

Dont you think Mika:lol:

Yes, I've been following their progress and it's certainly starting to look very clean and proper now. There were still some isolated incidents of people posting thanks for good solutions, but I expect they'll have those irresponsible rebels sorted out soon enough. Good thing, too, because it seemed to be slipping back to complete anarchy for a moment with people actually posting Belt CP videos and progress reports in the Belt CP section. What insolence! What arrogance! There must be something about this helicopter that is corrupting the youth. I expect they'll start erasing all evidence of its existence soon.

Overall, I've been so impressed I have actually posted answers on a few of the 0407A gyro setup, SG90 installation and tail setup threads to make sure they never leave the first page. People need to remember what it's all about.

By the way, they moved one of the gyro setup threads into the King II section (no, not to the Gyros section)... and it ended up right next to a duplicate thread. I'm thinking this probably goes to show something, but I sure don't know what :)

The pictures are shameless reposts, but what the heli - at least they haven't appeared in this thread so far.

Carry on, Colonel.

Thanks, Ian - I'm almost tempted to say it's despite my work. I actually have to work at not letting the stuff I read at the office contaminate my language skills. Basically I'm in the technical documentation business, although I've drifted mostly into development work. Trying to keep our manuals from resembling the crud you get with Esky stuff :)

I used to be a translator in my previous life, which is probably why I've developed this unhealthy love of the witty banter you guys inflict on unsuspecting forum populations wherever you roam...

And since it's a picture thread - meet my latest Belt CP upgrade :D

Nah, I still post there from time to time, thus insuring that silliness and drivel are perpetuated.

The ridiculous use of flobbydoobly wibblywobbly nonsensical language that seems to be prevalent here, added to the constant banter, meandering off topic posts and general friendliness are just not on and must stop immediately. This is not a meeting room for social purposes it is a serious forum.

I am moving this thread to the "I am a (heliguy) moderator and therefore think that I have more power than God so will abuse it and confuse and confound all members by ghosting away posts and posters" section.

ROTFLMAO just when I was starting to think "we're missing the catalysts over here a bit". I now know where a great deal of this childish behaviour resides and we have a clearer vision of just who to blame . In hoping this is not too irrelevant to the thread!?

Someone please watch out for those elephants!!! STAMPEDE!

The need for a clinical W.A.S.P. strike is becoming more and more evident!

what head is that you have on your belt?

Can I snicker at that? I couldn't snicker at something like that on the other site since it would be considered obscene and not suitable for 14 year olds to read.

Gerd Forgot to say you need a different swash from the one supplied with it. The AR pin is on the wrong side on Trex style swashplates, Google UGT Swashplate:)
