Hey everybody, Has anyone seen the new Blade cp number 2? I just went to the E-Flite home page and I saw it there. I can't tell you all of the different things about it but it does come with Spektrum DSM2 and a Spektrum Rx. Let me know your thoughts. I think that I will get one myself. ( I can't wait ):LOL

I like the fact that it comes with a DD tail and a better motor, two things I want to do anyway.

I see it also comes with a high power DSM2 radio also with Dual rates and throttle hold, should help the thing fly better also. Still its a Blade CP.

Here is a link to this topic http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFLH1350 but I still don't trust this heli. I think that they have dressed up this turd one to many times, and it still smells. I have a Blade Pro, and it got me in this hobby, and almost got me out. Thanks Align for pulling me back in. The Blade CX2 however, is a great heli. I fly it in my living room and den every chance I get. I have flown it so many times, I have had to replace the main motors.

I wish they had gone with twin tail motors.Thats whats on mine and they are working great. They last as long as the main motor-and I'm on my third main now.
The upgraded main and 6100e are on my short list of upgrades after I get the B 400 I'm saving for.The alum. stuff is looking pretty good too.Especialy since it's priced better than what's out there now.
So much for not spending too much on my CP+"trainer"!

I'm not gonna say sorry if thats what you want. I already said that I saw it on the E-Flite home page. Anyway, I was using my iPhone and you can't copy and paste with it. Michael

I'd keep my money in my pocket. I went through four orignal CP's and two CP Pros and all I have to say is that the videos of guys on You Tube flying those things inverted and doing crazy 3D stuff are the next breed of Szabos. It took me three months just to get one to hover without running away from it. I will never forget the day I bought and flew my first 450 after all that Blade nonsense. I remember saying to myself "So this is what flying RC Helicopters is like" and wished I had all my money back that I spent on the Blades. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for and if you're looking for an RTF machine, I'd stick to the CX2's. At least you can fly them right out of the box without taking your life in your own hands!

I loved my Blade cp+ more than any other heli I have ever had.( Except my T-Rex 450 SA.) I mean how often do you see a RTF that comes with such quality parts as the blade series? Sorry for the rant but I think that people should have more respect
for E-Flite's hard work. Michael
PS: And no, I do NOT work for E-Flite.

My blade CPP has been and is a blast. Plastic blades helped a lot. I really enjoy it more than my TRex because I don't worry about tearing it up as much.

I learned to fly with a Blade CP and I think they're great for what they are. My biggest complaint was the crappy radio, always glitching. Wondered when they were going to come out with this...

Looks pretty good; Spektrum, direct drive tail, head hold gyro included, and price is still the same?

I'd agree . . . the little guys are obviously less stable and tougher to learn on but if you know what you're doing setup wise they'll fly as well as anything . . . and in a lot less space!

I'm intersted to know if the direct drive tail motor will preform & last longer then the "old smokeys".
