View Full Version : Hyperion Duo Help
I would like to charge 4 3S packs that are evo lites with this charger. What adapters do I need? I saw an align balance adapter with 2 3S balance ports, but I am not sure if this would work. Any advice please.
The stock Hyperion TP adapters work perfectly straight out of the box. Just plug into the small jack, and the inner four pins of the large jack. You'll also need the main lead serial adapters. Make sure the packs are pretty close, or pull the high pack off when it hits 4.2V to speed things up.
It is absolutely critical you get the polarity right on the adapter and the main leads or you'll short the pack.
Looks like this when you are done. I only used one TP board, the other harness I made.

I greatly appreciate the advice. By inner 4 pins, do you mean that there will be a space to the outside of the plug or to the inside. Just want to make sure I don't short a pack. Thanks

Mike,
What batteries are those on the photo? How come you are using a Y deans connector per output? Do you charge four packs at a time as a two pack charge? :arggg:
Yep. The thread is about charging 4 3s packs at once. The packs are TP 3s 2070's. You have to serial both the main leads and the balancers. The charger just sees a normal 6s pack.
