So i spent all that time masking and painting my logo 500 body to see that it is all peeling off :9 i even bought the body paint that wasnt suppose to :( now it looks like this, of course i have also helped peel it off with my finger nail, is there a way to fix this ? do i hve to sand it all off ? Id like to paint it green again. I was told it happened because i didn't seal it and sand it enough.
What to do, its 90$ for a new body, im not looking to buy a whole new body to paint it again.
help ?

Sand it down and get all the old paint off. Hit it with some 400 grit. Prime it with bumper primer, paint it then clear it.
Use different paint..... even Krylon is better than that stuff.
Do some google searches on painting fiberglass.

You have to sand and prime. It's the most important thing to getting a good finish.

Hey,
Yes sand it down and do it again.
And try some different paint.

Not so. Looks like you can just slide a knife blade under the paint and peel it off :)

Bummer isn't it - had the same think happen on my T600N canopy and got showers of pink dandruff till I junked it - anyway on the L500 I used Tamiya spray paint "for plastic" - no preparation, worked perfectly, looks good (until I tried tunneling with it) and hasn't even made a hint of a peel. That's the plastic canopy in my avatar.
