View Full Version : Crashed today.
Sorry to hear about your crash LockMD, I got the hs-65mg's in and set up last night, but when I was done I noticed that my tail rotor shaft is bent pretty bad, did'n't see that before.I think it might have been bent for a while cause I was getting some pretty bad tail wag the last few times I flew.
I'm going to go get a new tail rotor shaft tommorow, and I think I will also get a 3400g for the tail and try it with the stock gyro for a while.
Can you flip the gyro into digital mode with the 3400g, and does it hold better?
Thanks for all the help, and hope you have better luck with your next flight.

thanks yeah you can run the 3400G in digital mode.
At first glance looks like the boom, flybar, and canopy. The canopy looks the worst. Wont be able to tear it down for a couple of hours. Then I may see more damage. I will be in the air by tonight.

I had that setup at first too, the problem is you cant set limits with the stock gyro causing binding from the servo being able to move too far.
I just moved the ball link down to the second hole on the servo arm, and the servo can't bind the tail linkages. I also upped the gyro gain, cause people on the forum said to do that if you move the ball link.
It was awful out of the box, set at the 4th hole. The tail linkage travel maxed out by barely moving the stick.
You can set servo travel limits in the DX6i transmitter to prevent binding. Does that not work with the tail servo running through the gyro - it seemed like it did?

Hey if you got it to work that way YOU are the man.....I put the g110 on my cp pro...
WELL I am back in the air!!! even put 2 hours of work on the 600....now I think of it more....
You guys remember someone posted about the zippy batt comming loose in mid flight? I cant say for sure cause it was dark and I just picked her up with my tail between my legs and came in for the night. BUT I was using the zippy when it happened. No proof, so I will take the credit for the crash but I will watch that more closely maybe even just change the deans connector on the batt.
