Was flying this weekend and everything was going fairly well. All birds went home in one piece, as opposed to last weekend.
However, when I had my transmitter out(it was sunny) and laid on the table for about 20minutes. When I turned it on, the screen seemed to flicker a bit. Almost like when you would see video in the past, where there was a tv in the background and you would get the horizontal striping that would band up or down kinda slowly. This however happened pretty rapid on the radio. If I put the transmitter back in it's case, and waited awhile then it either improved or went away. Figured it was something to do with the LCD heating due to the sun or something. I'll just keep it out of the sun for any significant period of time.
Odd thing is my buddy with a JR 10X didn't have the issue. Different LCD(touchscreen) maybe?
Oh well. Just wondering if it's a known issue, or I'm just dense and it's common sense not to leave them out in the sun?
