HDX300SE build/setup/review and more...

This thread will be updated (and first post will be edited) with the build/setup as I get it
done, and I will write a review of it aswell when it`s finished.

Although two complete HDX300SE are pictured I will only keep one for myself - the other
is for my father.

(Will start building today after I get home from work!)

Initial thoughts about the kit were very positive (the quality of the parts), although it`s very different from previous editions and subsequently the finless videos are not THAT helpfull regarding the v3 but the certainly helped alot!

There are some minor issues already, like the landing gear needs one hole to be one or two millimeters further too one side to allow mounting too the frame. And the boom were 0,35 mm larger than the black plastic parts that goes on the boom - so I had to dremel them to get them on. (later removed one of them and used the alu part thats in the picture.

Anyway - I am doing a dry fit now (no threadlock) and will take more pictures and explain as I build it up a second time. For now I just need to see if all the parts are there, and that everything is working properly.

Here are some pictures of how far I have got, please tell me if anything looks wrong.

I thought I would complete this heli in a couple of hours, but now I think it will not be complete untli sometime next week - mainly because I don`t have enough time to work on it this week.

About 6 hours spent up to now, but most of that time consists of me trying to figure out wich part goes where...

More to come later.

Cool. Looks good so far. I'm interested to see what you think of this heli once you've flown it because I've heard a lot of different things about it, and it's an interesting design because there isn't much in the way of a main frame. Keep us posted.
