View Full Version : A real noob mistake! Help?
Well, i did the noobiest thing i can do. I discharged my battery pack WAAAY down. Just wasnt in my mind with my new Nitro :(
And its that damn Align shit, so it is doomed to puff!
But anyone got any tips how i can charge it? so ic an fly some on it, its 1 day old :(
Use FP 1010 + 210 charger balancer. JST and Align Balancer adapter.
Help is much appriciated!:)

dump it align batteries are wak
my guess is charge it a really low rate and hope for the best
tryed 4,1V ni mah batt. but to low V even on that. any way i can charge this JUST UPTO THE 8v minimum and then regulary charge it?

Dump it - most lipos (cept KK or AT maybe) will die with that abuse - it ain't worth risking $2k worth of gear on a dodgy flight electrics pack!
True, but then i have to wait AGAIN for it to fly. Man this sucked. But thanks. :)

Align packs suck at the best of times. Basicly you got 'shorter' life out of your pack.
Last year i bought FP 1200 2s packs. I thought they were getting weak (i was wrong , just cold out)
Anyways , i though they were weak and i wasn't going to risk my heli for $40 reciever pack.
So i bought some evolite 2s 2100's for this year , They work great.
If it were me , i'd wait a week to save my $1500 heli then loose it to a $40 pack.
Just me though.
If you want to save the pack you could try to charge it on 1 or 2 cell setting without the balancer connected to get the voltage up ,once the voltage is up , stop the charge and get the balancer hooked up and watch that close.

I'll probably get a couple EVOLite 2500 2S packs to replace my two Align 1900 packs when the time comes.
Seems like i am ordering some 2S FP packs me too :D
but i got 2 of these old "2S 800mAh 7,4V megapower" batteries lying around, anyone know how i hook them together to get 1600mAh and stil 7,4V? :)

This plug puts both black leads onto one pin and both reds onto the other.

Thanks, but wont that increase the voltage? i dont want that, just the mAh
Ordered a KP 1800mAh from my local shop. 3 cycles then charge seems ok on a 6V setup?:)

No it would double the capacity

But any opinions on the RX batt, i've only used FP and Align so far. (be nice, as its already ordered :p )
