Okay, I started out with helis as many do, with a Coaxial. About a month of flying, and In figured I had killed the battery. My duration went down drastically. SO I ordered a new battery.FlightPower 20c 800mah 7.4v, got it and put the proper connector on, and proceeded to charge the battery on my Dynam Vortex 2 cell Lipo charger.
Tried the heli out, and got a very short flight....mmmm. Started to look at things more closely, and while disconnecting the charger, I pulled the plug off(the one that attached wall wart to charger, it like an old 9v adaptor plug but for 12v). Luckily it is a screw on plug, and I was able to undue it and found just barely soldered wire, that had simply broke off.
SO I am thinking this thing was probably getting a real poor power supply. At first the charger worked great, but last night it seemed not to give a good charge, even though the light said charged.
I charged the Flightpower batt on a different charger I have, an just tried it, it works great, good duration as expected.
Could the other battery be just a victim of poor charges, Im new to Lipos, so I wonder about a lot of stuff.
I have repaired the power supply, and the plug is on there solid now, I am just about to try it again on the flight power, once the battery rests for a bit.
Guess Ill have to replace the plug on the old battery(stole it for the FP battery) and try it again.
Anyone ever had anything like this happen.
Thanks a lot for any advice, or help,
