I bought this reflex from someone and it included a USB type interface. Basically it looks like a USB dongle (black) with a fixed 3 foot wire that goes to a 1/8" mini type plug. however, it is not the one with a separate cable that plugs into it. I am using XP and a spektrum radio. Reflex version 5.005 XTR -When I connect the USB device, it just flashes. Then when I start the software, it is looking for the interface says "no reflex interace could be detected" I thought this thing was the interface? I am unable to find anythig that looks like my interface on their site. I ordered a JR adapter and it has a phone line on one end and this does not, so that was a waste. Had no idea they have serveral different interfaces and what the difference was. Anyway. Is anyone familiar with what I have ehre? It came in a small box, about the size of the CD, maybe 1 and 1/2 inch thick.

REFLEX model flight version 5.005 XTR (Funfly)

ANY help would be very much appreciated.

carboncopter,

I had the same problem initially with mine (5.3 version with red dongle though) (DX6) and what I eventually discovered was that the mini plug was going too far into the tx - if you pull the mini connector out a little (maybe space with a plastic washer arund the connector) it may work - that is how I solved the problem. Give it a try :)

Try what he said, that may work.
