I went out today with the 400d and my mind set on inverting. I tried it before with my CPpro, but things didnt end so well. I was expecting to crash right away, but I didn't. I performed many loops holding the inverted flight longer each time. After about 7 loops I tried to bring the heli lower while inverted and SMASH! Instant lawn dart. I was sad but very happy at what I've succeded to do. I actually found it easier than I expected. Before I was trying to perform this using the cp pro with all the mods. What a waste of time that was. I was really happy how this heli responded even stock. I could only imagine with a new gyro and servos. This is all the build-up for me to perform this on my Raptor.

Crash List:
2 sets of servo gears stripped
1 tail boom
1 blade grips
1 main shaft
1 feathering shaft (but of coarse)
1 flybar
1 set of main blades
1 tail rotor shaft

I had everything in my box except for the servo gears, So easy to work with compared to my rappy. The only thing that really bothered me was that little screw and m2 nut at the bottom of the tail gear. I just wanted to share that with you guys, I hope I didnt bore you.

Thanks, I have to try to record it on vid. My advice blade400 dump the cp use only the 400d. The cp was so twitchy to try any stunts. I guess going from a Cppro to this explains why this feels so solid.

Thanks again

Does anyone know of a Blade 400 download for RF?

Congrats. The best part (for you) is the way you took it all. Hopefully I will be experiencing that feeling soon too.

Thanks. Look at it this way when everyone first started out in rc heli did they really think they would never crash. I really think the sim helped me out alot. My first heli was a rappy 30 back maybe 5-6 years ago. With training gear and all I would practice every chance I had. One day I had a terrible glitch and smash. I retired from the heli routine and started with my rc cars again. Then one day I saw a real heli land right in front of me on a highway picking up a guy that just got into a bike accident. I fell in love again, so I purchased parts to fix my rappy and noticed these spectrum systems that just came out. It really was a message for me to get back into it. So then I revamped my rappy, and purchased a cppro and now the 400d. So thats why were all here. We love what we do. There is not one helifreak that does this hobby to pass time, its truly a passion. My wife might not think so but she can :kiss
