Gents,
I have the plastic Trex paddles and they do not fit the pEsky flybar for the plastic head - too narrow for the flybar screw shaft. Would I be right in saying that I need the Trex flybar aswell, and that this is a straight fit in the flybar case of the plastic head? On the same theme, I am getting a pEsky CNC head, what is the best paddle arrangement for this set-up?

Cheers,

Mike

Your talking about the stock trex paddle?? I have that on my Belt and they fit perfectly well on the belt flybar

Yes, the part no is HS1191, the stock black paddle. No way will it screw into the flybar. How do you lock it in the correct position?

Yes same part number, mine screwed right on...

Your saying the hole in the flybar paddle is too small for the Esky flybar??? wierd, guess take a small 2mm bit and work it in a bit to open it up, shouldnt be like that as Trex is also 2mm shaft.

If its loose, put a drop of CA Glue at the end just before completeing the screw in.

That's correct, no way will it screw in. Have drilled it out but now it is just a bit too loose. I guess once i have rebuilt the head [dexterity permitting] and the paddles are in place, correctly positioned, I could just superglue in position, cos they then should not need further adjusting. How about for the CNC head? The same flybar I suppose?

LOL!!! Took it step by step with my drill bit sizes. Guess I am being too impatient and wanting to get at my bird!!! On a good note, I found a thin tapering rod and managed to open up the hole for the screw thread on the flybar to get a purchase. Prob solved!!!

Cheers mate.

I couldnt get the 3k carbon trex paddles on mine at all so i had to buy the trex flybar and they fitted perfect. To get the flyber in though you need to drill out the flybar holder as its abit thicker than the belt flybar.

Exactly which is why i find it very strange his paddles couldnt even get on the esky flybar...

Weird.. :smokin:

I found that the thread was completley different (not a proper thread on the belt cp's) and the trex version had a proper cut thread
