with all the hassles with the Gaui CNC blade grips and having to heat them to remove the bearing for servicing...I asked Helidirect if the CNC grips they sell (which are supposedly direct replacement for the H550) have thrust bearings and if the bearing are easy to remove WITHOUT heat.. here's the reply I got..
Yes, they do come with thrust bearings. Yes, they are easy to be removed.

Hmmm... they cost less... are serviceable...I think I'll have to order some once I get my Hurri..

I also would opt for these. Has anyone used them, and are they as servicable as Heli-Direct say's they are ?

Not to dump on HeliDirect (I'm a customer!) but I'm not a big fan of their HDX CNC Hurri upgrades (which I don't think they manufacture). There have been reports of the CNC tail parts failing catastrophically, and while I can't say their head parts will have the same problem the apples come from the same tree so caveat emptor. Apart from the servicability problem of the CNC Gaui grips, I think the part is perfectly fine...

i've gotten past my anger at gaui's cnc grip design. basically i had a chance to look over a "cnc helicopter" rotor head up close. it's nowhere near as nice and clean cut as gaui's. and i've become proficient at lubing the t-bearing with a toothpick. and really, how often will the bearings in the main grips need changing? not very frequentley, if ever. if i crash hard enough to ruin the ball bearings in my grips, then the grips are likely toasted too so i'll have to buy another set. the aftermarket brands just don't look or even feel as solid as the gaui.

I don't know but I sprayed/soaked all my Gaui CNC head/grips in tri-flow because I'm not going through the pita to heat them up to get them apart. So..either that worked to lube it or it didn't. I guess they are as lubed as they will ever be heheh, and I plan to find out how many flights they will go. :)
