The waiting is killing me... I hope there are more available than the 500 in the beginning.

I'm guessing they're having clearance problems with that Hatori (or whatever brand) pipe. If you look at where the canopy pins are located, it doesn't look like there's much clearance.
I still haven't seen one shot with the canopy on showing the muffler (left) side of the heli.......
Knowing Align they're molding a new canopy as we type :) FAAAAST prototyping!

Looks like a .91 SZ-H PH (Hyper w/ Pump).

That pipe looks like an Align pipe. Clearance looks fine, the canopy will have to angle in there (think cheek).

Just pulled the trigger on engine, servos, blades, and pipe for this beast!:smokin:
Governor, gyro, and Carbsmart next.
Bring it on Align!!!
Edit: Guess I'm going to need a fan too, huh?
Further edit: A clutch is a must!

Ok, I've never had a nitro heli so maybe that's de rigueur for these things, but WTH is up with that giant pipe??! Is that really necessary? Wouldn't a nice slim stinger not only work better but be easier to fit in the canopy?

I cannot find the 8915 servos shown in one of the 700 pictures on the JR site, is it only called that overseas?

JR and the rest of the world call them the 8915 and horizon has them labeled as the 8717.

that must be why alan removed his stickers, I bet if he can get his hands on some stickers that say 8717 he will put them on. :)

Muffler/pipe doesn't fit under the canopy.

I am surprised to see ASJ not using a Spartan, actually the 4 of them. Probably back ordered !! :rolling

Alan, you got any idea when the 700 will be on sale?

Yep, all properly sponsored equipment on-board (Spartan, Thunder Power, JR/Spektrum). The real question is, are those really JR servos's? With the stickers removed it makes me wonder if maybe Align supplied some Futaba servos for ASJ....?!?!?! :)
Although the case does look to be JR......?
