Good morning,

I currently own a Futaba 12Z radio purchased in USA. Now I want to switch to 2.4Ghz, but before that I'll like to know a few things:

* Will this module work with my USA purchased radio? (http://www.readyheli.com/Futaba_TM_14_14_Channel_2_4GHz_FASST_Module_14MZ_1 _p/futl8934.htm)

* Will 7 and 8 channel receivers work with that module? The receivers I'm planning to use are the following:
http://www.readyheli.com/Futaba_R608FS_8_Channel_2_4GHZ_FASST_Receiver_p/futl7638.htm
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTHL6&P=ML

* I still own many 1024 and 2048 G3 receivers, to use them I should only take out the 2.4ghz module and put the 1024/2048 module in, shouldn't I?

Thanks in advance to everyone for your time and help.

Best regards.

Fercho.

Yes; US purchased radio, US purchased module & US software update required.

Yes, there is a 7 channel (or less) mode that can be set for each model receiver that needs it.

You have to change the module and the RF settings in the radio.....it takes just a few minutes.

Yes, sorry if I inadvertently made it sound like you couldn't use the 8 channel - there is also a mode for 8 channels and up. There is a chart that you can use to cross reference the module with all the compatible Futaba receivers here: http://2.4gigahertz.com/modules/modules-receivers.html
