best bang for your buck with solid performance is the KP 2200's great batteries. Readyheli is running special 2 for $120 or 2 + charger (value150) for $199
Well I allready have a charger the bc6 but no balance adapter for any lipos..
But I might buy the batteries :)

Shoot, wish I had never seen this thread, I saw this once, and thought about it, but I resisted temptation. Now I have to order one. This, with the charger I have, I can charge 4 packs at once. At least this way, it's equivalent to a free pack. What the heck, why not. ReadyHeli, here I come.
I know,,, I already ordered it. I fly 2 KPs and 2 TPs currently using a poly4 field charger and TP balancer... i get about 4-5min per flight and they take an hour to charge. so I'm always waiting on the charger.. figured this will give me my peak charger for that extra minute of flight and 2 more lipos. to fly.! (the poly4 only charges to 12.5V .. saves the packs ..but flights are quick.. the KPs can handle more.:).)

I ordered mine tonight..... I have 12 x 3s packs between the T450 and the 500. So this will give me alot less downtime. Dude, READYHELI always ROCKS !

even though you don't need the charger, check readyheli anyway as they still have a deal on just two packs. you can get a pair of 1800mah's or 2200mah's. great packs!
had abit of trouble with pulling the dean contact out and I had a screwdriver in my left hand so I used it. well it came some lightnings
definitley don't write that pack off just yet. test it with the bc6. fully charge it (outside of course, this pack might still be dangerous?) and then discharge it with your bc6. you might be surprised. the reason i'm saying that is this past tuesday, i was tearing into my bday present which was a 36v dewalt pack. i shorted out the whole f'ing thing. prit-near welded my wire cutters together. but i charged and discharged each cell separate and they all are good! they all charged to 3.6v and the least i could pull out was 2000ish mah and the most one put out was 2199mah. needless to say, the a123 cells are tough cells. idk about lipos though, having never shorted one.

When I was first starting out with helis I had the wrong deans connector on the battery pack. I went to pull the battery out of my pocket and the male deans connectors came into contact with my stainless steel watch. The result was a sustained arch that not only made quite a spark display but also temporarily welded the connector to my watch and left permanent weld marks on my watch, not to mention it scared the hell out of me!
The battery lasted about 15 cycles after that, then puffed!

it is, but i couldn't wait. although i should have, maybe i wouldn't have shorted out the pack. i do believe my wire cutters acted as a fuse and the spot that came in contact with the hot wire just burnt up. all the cells test good!
i'm treating myself for my 30th bday too, by ordered a cf frame kit from readyheli!

For me, the best presents always seem to be from myself. Sometimes, I have 10 to 20 birthdays per year. Varies per year though. Approaching about 250 or so..

I have short circuited 2 of my lipos. I have a metal workbench and while soldering the connectors, the wire leads touched the top of my bench and I saw pretty blue lights for a while but no issues arose. I balanced them and charged them and still am using them today!!
PS... I now use a rubber mat when soldering batteries!!

off topic, i'm sorry but i had to add that two of the cells that were in the shorted a123 pack are now only putting out 1100mah. so i guess i did fry a couple of them lol.
If it's an A123 pack cycle it a few times it will probably come back to life.
