Been trying to improve air flow in my cowl..To much air flow forward by passing the other fins...
I got some 1/2 inch furniture foam about 6 inchs long, about 1/2 inch wide... folded it back so I could stuff it between the front of the cowl, and first fin, and around the plug..
I used CA to tack it to the cowl to hold it in place at the bottom...
Now my cooling is more uniform....
This bulges the front out more, but it also pulls the side toward the frames..
I took small pieces of foam to put between the frames on the side to make the sides rub the fins insuring no by-pass there.You don't see them, since their behind the frames, and small..
Its easy to do, you don't have to take the machine apart, so far, the foam is doing the job..
Thought I would share this with Predator pilots to help improve their machine...
