I just got 4 brand new Kong Power 3s 2500s and decided to run the first 3 charge /discharge cycles through the BC6.

I used the lipo discharge program set to 3s 9v cut off and I believe 300 ma discharge rate.
The Charge cuts of at 9 V but at this point the cells are completely out of balance.
The cells show 3.6V 2.7V 2.7V for different batteries. The results can be repeated for different batteries. I assume the charger has a "discharge defect".
Charging at 1/2 c will balance the batteries again.

I left 2 messages with RC Accessories where I bought the charger but am getting no response so far.
I hope this forum is better monitored then the answering machine :)
Aloha Matthias

I have called you back twice and left a message each time, both within a reasonable amount of time after you left your message. I'm sure the 6+ hour time difference could be an issue as well. ;) Please do research on the Kong Power batteries and what you describe is 100% normal. When you charge the Kongs up, they will be in balance.

Also, there is no reason to discharge lithium batteries, they do not need a discharge cycle before use like nicads/nimh batteries do.
