New Bantam e-Station BC6

I got it today, I am trying to charge the battery and is start then stops it says( Battery Vol ERR Cell connect).
On my battery I have the deans plug but there are two sets of wires one had a large plug and teh other a small plug with one is to go into the small pce that has all the with connectors on it I know I use the 6 to 8C plug?
Can you help me out pls note that this is a new battery so I am trying to balance the charge maybe I need to do something else?

Use a DVM and check each cell on the battery. You get that error when either a cell or cells has low voltage or a cell is dead.
