Okay-So I'm excited to get home and install my new pipe. Well it hits the carbon brace that is beneath the motor between the struts and frame. What gives??? Can someone post a pic of there Trex 600 Nitro Pro with the MP5 installed? I'm a pretty smart guy but come on........ Thanks for the help guys!:arggg:

okay I do not have a picture, but i used to have an MPII and i also had to cut off a piece off the base plate, or it wouldn't fit.
I did this with my Dremel

Just dremel or file a small amount from where the weld on the MP5 touches the base plate. Takes 30 seconds.

what he said :)
I have a (GASP) Mavrick muffler on my 600N Sport with OS50 Hyper, but I'm getting a MP5 for my 600N Pro build with TT53 redline. I'm also getting another OS50 Hyper and MP5 combo used as a spare and will swap out the mavrick muffler to use as a backup on my Sport. Clearancing a bit of the bottom plate isn't a big deal for the extra power and sound of the MP5 :).

I've got a TT 53 redline and MP5.
I took a small amount of sandpaper and just sanded away the edge where the weld hit. It took less than 5 minutes. just make sure to cover the exhaust port of the moter and carb holes before doing any sanding on the carbon.

As much as it pained me to do it........ I Dremeled some material off the bottom plate to make the pipe fit. I don't like doing that kind of stuff. I hope the Muscle pipe is quieter than the Align. More power would be nice too!!!! Thanks for the input guys!
