Is this off the subject, or what? I told you last night I'd fly my 200 today, but that was before the company plastering my swimming pool phoned with an opening, and I said come on over. Last week they'd jackhammered out the 30-year-old surface in preparation; today five guys and a pumper truck pull up and literally recreate the interior of the pool like a potter working clay. Totally handcrafted out of minerals mined from the earth. Routine for them, fascinating for me. Have a look:

1) Plaster's sprayed first on the sides like cake icing . . .
2) . . . then on the bottom. Strapped to their shoes are ice cleats.
3) Shaping the contour
4) Molding the edge of a step
5) Finishing up, now with sponges on their shoes
6) Starting the refill. The plaster will cure under water. Three hours, start to finish. Amazing.

Gaui's snug in its hangar. Batteries are charged. Tomorrow we fly.

I told Rotor, that it was okay to bring his GF's, is that okay Surf??, hey, they're taking belly dancing classes!!

Buzz will have to strap his stuff on the roof, just not enough room.

I'd fly us there, but the 600 is not finished yet... ...hey! somebody wake up Petey!!

Do 'yuh think a week will be okay? I won't have more gas money till I get my tax return.......
