Hi All,
I will install VBar on my ION-X. Is there anyone that has done that before. Is there anything particular that I should think about?

MrMel has done the pioneering work for us on his one. Check out the thread in the 3d Flybarless portion. I also Vbar'd mine. My first version involved simply drilling two holes in the washout base(plastic) to hold two screws to allow securing it to the mast. I then flipped it upside down to allow more room for the swash to travel. Used the stock swash driver arms, but cut off one side. This allows using the head block guide pins to keep your phasing synched. I then simply removed the bell/hiller mixing lever from the blade grips and put a double ball in its place. Then a simple tie rod from the swash to the outer of the double balls. With this, it flies great. Following MrMels' research I am slowly trying to evolve the setup. I have the Raptor 90 metal blade grips by QUK on order, and will probably go to a more dedicated swash driver simply because using the Ion washout does not leave much clearance for me to use a shorter ball on the swashplate (I want to bring cyclic throw down to a reasonable range without reducing servo working radius).
