I've installed the CCPM conversion for my MX400. My question is concerning the servo horns. Is there a recommended distance that the link should be installed on the arm (from its center pivot point) or do I only need to be concerned with getting the link arm at 90 degrees to the servo arms when they are at center?
Also, if anyone has any clear pictures of their elevator servo installation on I'd appreciate them being posted as I'm not sure if mine will do how I have it or if I need to change it.
I've been a lurker for a while, joined recently and really like the site!

Since the CCPM conversion kit has a one page explaination. The best thing to do is to line the servo horn with the link as close to the end and as close to 90 degrees as possible. When I go home this weekend I will do my best to post pictures of how my CCPM is setup for you.

Here, follow this link for the manual for the 450. At the bottom of the page under specifications click on product manual. Look on pages 5 and 6.
Pitch - 54mm
Elevator - 48mm
Aileron - 41mm

Thanks for the replies. I've downloaded the manual and looked at pages 5 & 6 and it looks like I'm on the right track. Once difference though is it looks like the pitch and aileron servos are installed on the outside of the frame whereas I installed mine on the inside to get them to line up better with the swash (same S3107 servos).
Step 1 on page 5 says..
Locate the 4 aluminum balls and the 4 2mm x 6mm machine screws. Install the 4 ball links onto all 4 control horns (AIL, ELE, PIT, RUD).There are no nuts threaded onto the backside of the screws - does that hold up properly?

Yes that is the norm. The screws should be snug and will make their own threads in the fresh plastic. Think of a nylon insert lock nut.
As for inside/outside the frame, which ever lines up the best.

Not yet. I was planning on doing that this weekend but thus far the weather hasn't been playing nice.

I was able to get in some test hovering this afternoon once the wind was all but gone - rock solid and very responsive. :banana
