Ok had a H@## of a time trying to find a new plug today locally.
Finally got lucky and found an autoparts store about 30 minutes away with 4 RZ7C's.
So where are you guys getting your plugs?
I found this place online, but my gosh the shipping is a ripoff!!!
They did have the NGK and Champions in stock though at a decent price (6.95 for the CR7HIX and 4.43 for the RZ7C)
www.sparkplugs.com
I mean 7.73 to ship UPS GROUND 2 spark plugs from California to Washington.
To top that off USPS priority mail was 12.23  Explain that one....

Honda makes an easy to get plug that John Garst showed me. Unfortunately I lost the number. :DOH
Once he sees this he will post up.

PM John for a fast answer. I think he found that the honda plugs work better, although you know how that goes.

Ok found a couple of Champions to get me by so I can wait till he gets to the thread.
I think it would be better to have it here for all so I don't FORGET. :D

The plug Will is referring to is sold and carried at most Honda motorcycle dealerships and it costs less than $3.00. The plug is in a Honda package and is made by NGK part #CR7 HSA. The plug however, is not a "compact design" meaning that it has a longer outer insulator. This plug works great as long as the secondary coil is NOT mounted on the motor case. The plug wire may not be long enough reach the plug when the coil is case mounted without stretching the lead and causing problems.

John,
Ok so then I can get a longer wire or relocate the case to a part of the frame to use it then right?

You cannot get a longer high tension wire as they are not removable and are molded into the coil. You can move the coil to the bottom plate in the Spectra-G (other machines as well(move the coil)). MA makes a kit to relocate it along with shielding for the wire.
parts #125-112 and 125-114

Thanks John.
I think for now I am going to stick with the Champion. I am just starting to get all the bugs worked out of this one so changing things again might not be a good idea. :D

Morning All
I am using Honda BMR7A or Champion RCJ7Y on all my gassers.
I favour the Honda plugs as I pass the dealer on the way to the field.
cheers

WoW!
The CR7HSA's at the Honda stealer are only $2.50 or so, and they are always in stock with no ordering.

Try your local Standard Atuo Parts if you have one. They had the NGK resistor plugs in stock for about $2. What's crazy is my local small engine shop didn't even carry the plug.
